My favorite book

Can you imagine a story where the rock n' roll's celebrate phrase "sex, drugs and rock n' roll" is taken to another level?  Because that's what "the dirt" is about. This book is the Mötley Crüe’s autobiography, which contains stories related by the four members of the band and each one of them will make you wonder how the f*%&k is possible that these guys still alive.

The 80's were such a crazy decade on L.A. Every band (actually not just the bands, also the actors. actresses and models) with intention of success had to go there. During that period, The band had its decade of glory, or how they call it on the book,  the decade of decadence, and that's the reason why this is my favorite book, because it brings to life all those crazy and wild experiences in which the band were through. But what makes it especial, is the kind of stories. How i said, they take to another level the phrase iconic of rock n' roll. Nikki tells how when he was 11, set fire to his house and how he died and back to life... twice (consequences of drug abuse). Vince tells the pain that feels for be the murder of his best friend and the lost battle of his daughter against cancer. Mick makes you understand the life of an alcoholic, and last but not least, tommy will make you feel like the goddamned Hugh Gefner.
yeah, basically that's what my favorite book is about.

He´s the one they call Dr. Feelgood…

He´s the one they call Dr. Feelgood…

Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and tommy lee are the name of the four members of Mötley Crüe, my favorite band. When in I used to live in Colombia, (I live here since 2011) listened for the first time their music. In that moment, they became my favorite band.
The ticket
So, in my first month here, I saw an announce saying: “Mötley Crüe, Live Santiago, 14Th May, 2011 – Movistar Arena) and I gotta say that it was the best thing in life that has ever occurred to me. I asked to my dad for the money, 50.000 pesos, the front row, I didn´t see it expensive and for sure it was totally worth.
I worked for one month to pay him and when the big day arrived; I was on the file since the 9 a.m. (the concert started at 9 p.m.) and between those twelve hours, I met a lot of great people there. It was exciting to talk to people who like your same music, and feel the same passion that covers you  listening classic Glam metal songs like Girls, girls, girls, Live wire, On with the show, Dancing on glass, Dr feel good and I could continue naming their songs, but the point is that  I had a great time meanwhile. The doors opened at 7 p.m. and the band who opened the show was Buckcherry. I only knew a couple of their songs but I got to say that they really made way shorter the 2 hours of waiting that remaining. Finally when Mötley Crüe went out to the stage, the crowd gone crazy and sang so loud every song that even I got out of my voice the next day.
My bro and I, Front row

Unfortunally, the band split and played their last show ever the last day of the 2015, in Los Angeles. The same place where they did their first show, back there on 1981, so that´s why this is the history of how I saw, for the first and last time, my favorite band.
